Terms and conditions

• Payment is to be made on collection via cash or card. We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards. Please be aware that the price stated is subject to change in certain circumstances e.g. more time spent due to de-matting, discovering fleas on your pet, your pet showing signs of aggression etc.

• Please ensure you are on time for your appointment and collection is made promptly at an agreed time. We kindly ask that you take no more than 30 minutes to collect your pet unless agreed otherwise.

• We do not charge for cancelled appointments where adequate notice is given. Should you be unable to attend, we ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. This is so that this gives me time to try and refill that appointment gap. Cancellations within the 24 hours period will be charged half the cost of your groom unless there is a genuine emergency reason to cancel.

• All clients are requested to complete a Grooming Record card before any work is undertaken. We ask that you inform us of any known medical problems, allergies, etc. to enable us to groom your dog safely. Please inform us of any changes to your details on future visits as well.

• You must inform us if your dog has ever bitten or shown aggressive tendencies. A soft muzzle may be used when it is necessary to do so. Pampered Poochies reserves the right to refuse to groom a dog if it shows unmanageable aggression. In such an event, the owner will be contacted immediately and asked to collect their dog and a fee shall apply.

• In the event of matted hair needing to be clipped, you should be aware that skin irritation to the dog may occur from this process, as well as uncovering nicks, cuts and sores. You agree that Pampered Poochies shall not be held liable for any post-grooming effects of matted clipping procedures or problems uncovered on a badly neglected coat which include, but are not limited to the following: itchiness, skin redness or self-inflicted irritations/abrasions from excessive external rubbing. There will be an extra £10 fee for every additional 15 minutes spent on your dog from de-matting. Furthermore, a £10 fee will also apply if we discover your dog has fleas due to more materials being used.

• Your dog may be photographed before, during and after the groom. These images may be used on the Pampered Poochies Website and/or it’s Facebook page etc if you are happy to sign the photo consent form.

• Clients should be aware that Pampered Poochies has CCTV in operation.  Images will be kept for a month in case of any disputes, and I feel this offers both myself and owners’ complete peace of mind.
